What is a left handed bathtub?

A left handed bathtub can be defined as a bath that offers a more spacious area for showering, with an extended section at the top end of the bath. This is made to provide a wider and more spacious section for showering purposes.

This bath type is referred to as left handed because when you look at it straight on, you’ll notice that the top section of the bath protrudes on the left hand side, allowing for more space. A left hand bathtub is a perfect choice for those who can’t decide between adding a bath or shower and would prefer the option to have the best of both worlds.

What left handed bath types are available?

Our left handed shower baths are available in the following configurations:

• L shaped shower baths.
• P shaped shower baths.

Both types will provide you with a practical space, enhancing your bathing and showering experience. However, a P shaped shower bath showcases a more defined curve around the corner, whereas an L shaped shower bath will appear more angular.

To make it simple, think of it as the bathtub will resemble the shape of the letter. A ‘P’ is rounder and more curved, whereas an “L” is more angular with squared edges.

Do left hand baths come with bath panels?

Yes, we do offer a wide range of left handed baths that include side panels in the purchase, however, we also offer a selection that does not include panels.
