At Royal Bathrooms, safety of both our customers and staff is at the heart of what we do. Therefore, we have taken steps to ensure your delivery is as safe as possible for everyone concerned.
Q: Can I place an online order?
A: Yes, you can still place an order online and it will be dispatched as normal and delivered within stated time scales. However, the situation is rapidly changing and if there is any change, we will comply with Government policies and we will update you at the earliest opportunity.
Q: Would I still receive my order?
A: Yes, our delivery process and couriers are still operating as normal with no delay expected.
Q: When will I receive my order?
A: Once the order is processed and dispatched, we will email you with Tracking and courier details. Currently, the couriers are running as normal, but if the situation changes after or before dispatch, we or the couriers will inform you.
Q: Can I still collect or return items in person?
A: Unfortunately, no. To minimise risk for both staff and customers our premises are closed for public until further notice.
Q: Is there a change in delivery time scale or method?
A: Our contracted couriers are already operating under contactless delivery methods. The order will be delivered to you and the courier will note down your name and take pictures of the delivery and your premises. They will not ask you to sign paperwork for safety reasons. But be assured all items are dispatched via tracked services and most deliveries can be confirmed by GPS locations.
How Much Will My Delivery Cost?
Delivery costs vary based on item size and delivery address. Even if your order contain various item sizes, only one delivery charge will be applied.
During checkout you will be asked to chose either Free (If applicable), Standard or Express Delivery and the prices will be shown.
(Small, low value, non-fragile orders. E.g. fixing kit, flexible waste pipe, shut off valve)
(Orders for non-fragile items, below 15kg in weight. E.g. tap, shower mixers, waste fitting, soap dish)
(Any order over 15kg in weight or containing fragile items. E.g. toilet, basin, shower trays)
(Large orders over 30kg or fragile orders. E.g. toilets, basins, sinks)
Extra Large Order
(Extra Large orders over 40kg or fragile orders. E.g. shower screens, shower doors, shower enclosures)
Standard Delivery takes 2-7 Working Days
Express Deliveries takes 1 Working Day. Order before 12pm for same day dispatch.
For palletised deliveries, the goods will be delivered as close as possible to your front door. If this location is unreachable for any reason, such as a narrow street, up a flight of stairs (such as flats), or any other obstruction, delivery will be made as near to your property as possible. The driver is NOT insured to take the goods inside your property. It is strongly recommended that at least 2 able bodied persons are available to receive the delivery and carry the goods inside.
*Medium, Large & Extra Large Orders are not available for delivery to following Postcodes AB, BT, DD, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KW, PA, PH, ZE & Isle of Wight (PO30-PO41)
Although every effort is made to deliver your order safely and on time, but sometimes late delivery is out of our control. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK OR COMMENCE ANY INSTALLATION WORK UNTIL YOUR GOODS HAVE DELIVERED AND HAVE BEEN CHECKED. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO COVER ANY COSTS INCURRED DUE TO DELIVERY ISSUES.
It is highly recommended that you invite your fitter or plumber for a quick visit to check all items are present before commencing any work, any good plumber or fitter will happily do so.
